Joseph E. Schroeder is an independent consultant on heat recovery steam generators (HRSG’s). He retired from Nooter Eriksen, the leading HRSG supplier, as the Senior VP of Engineering. He has a BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, MO and a MBA from Washington University in St Louis, MO. He is chair of the ASME performance test code for HRSG’s (PTC 4.4) and is a member of the ASME Research & Technology Committee on Water and Steam in Thermal Systems.
