Aaron Smith has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University. Aaron has been with HTRI for 12 years and is the Group Lead of Research. His expertise is in fouling research, rig design, and data analysis. Aaron is the Chair of the HTRI Crude Oil Fouling Task Force. He also serves on the scientific committee of the Heat Exchanger Fouling and Cleaning Conference. He also enjoys paddle sports, remodeling his home, cooking, and coffee roasting.
